Free Radicals

The first stage of this two-way discovery is about very small, very short-lived and difficult-to-detect substances in our bodies. Molecules are the smallest units that make up human physiology and present a whole. These tiny, oxygen-containing molecules (known as free radicals or oxy radicals) can produce devastating effects throughout the body. Both the aging process and today’s terrible diseases (from arthritis to diabetes, from cardiovascular system diseases to cancer) occur largely due to the destruction caused by these destructive free radicals.

Free radicals can cause damage in a single cell, as well as in all physiological systems. These can create masses by cross-linking between proteins, and reduce the flexibility and range of motion of the whole body. Free radicals can cause gradual destruction or serious crises by causing narrowing and ultimately complete blockage of the vessels feeding the heart, brain, other organs and limbs. These can accelerate the aging process by reducing the release of hormones that the body needs.

It is impossible to be completely free from free radicals. These are an inevitable part of life based on oxygen and emerge as harmful waste materials as a result of vital processes that provide energy production in cells. While the immune system fights against infections, it uses these free radicals as a weapon and indiscriminately spreads them throughout the environment. Free radicals occur as a result of insecticides, chemicals used in industry, processed foods, cigarette smoke or alcohol enter the body. Also, when the mind and body are under stress, large amounts of free radicals are produced.

The good thing is that although we cannot avoid free radicals, we can control them. What’s more, a dramatic improvement in health appears to occur when free radicals are under control.

FREE RADICALS AND CONSCIOUSNESS BASED HEALTH

Over the past decade, researchers around the world have introduced a new, two-pronged model of human health. The first part of this model is about free radicals. Free radicals are destructive molecular aggressors that cause aging and diseases by breaking down the cells in our body. The second part is related to the effective control of free radicals through a natural health system based on consciousness.

The vast majority of researchers working in the field of free radicals say that these killer molecules play an auxiliary role in the emergence of an estimated 80-90% of degenerative diseases in humans. We once considered cholesterol to be a major cause of heart disease. But new research shows that the real culprit is free radicals. We have known for a long time that rheumatoid arthritis occurs as a result of constant inflammation, but this inflammation is caused by free radicals. It is clear that cancer arises as a result of mutations in genes. But most gene mutations are caused by free radicals. Where we thought there were many causes until today, the cause is usually only one.

If there is only one cause, it may be in a single treatment. So, we should be able to protect our health by controlling free radicals. Fortunately, long-term insurance research adds to this optimism. If free radicals contribute to the emergence of 80-90% of degenerative diseases, effective control of free radicals should equally reduce the occurrence of these diseases.

These studies show that the root cause of diseases can be controlled, and thus many diseases can be easily eliminated. I believe we are actually experiencing a revolution in medicine, a change that only happens every few centuries. Although hundreds of studies revealing this revolution have been published in scientific journals to date, these discoveries have not been adequately understood by the researchers and those outside their immediate circle. Modern medicine is still trying to cure diseases. But the available evidence shows that there is no need for a very large percentage of diseases to occur.
