Carboxy Therapy

It is the injection of carbon dioxide gas under the skin (subcutaneous tissue) with a thin needle (30 G needle).

What is Carbon Dioxide Therapy?

It is a method of slimming applied to the places where there is regional lubrication. This system, which is based on the principle that the body pumps plenty of oxygen in the region where carbon dioxide is given, breaks down and dissolves the fats, is frequently used today. The gas given under the skin at the desired amount and speed ensures the breakdown of fats in this area. On the other hand, the body immediately begins to send oxygen to this area. This oxygen is carried by the existing capillaries, as well as by the capillaries that work less or not. Thus, the amount of oxygen in this region increases, and the increased oxygen allows the fats to melt faster.

What are the effects?

Number of Sessions

The number of sessions is decided according to the patient’s condition. Cellulite and lubrication decrease in fifteen to twenty sessions. Ideally, the treatment should be repeated one day apart. However, in some cases, two or even one session a week may be sufficient. After the fifth session, visible positive differences develop on the skin. The skin becomes firmer and smoother. Especially after eight or ten sessions, a significant tightening occurs in the subcutaneous tissue.

The cells in our body normally produce carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide given under the skin causes a reaction that increases the oxygen in the bloodstream. After all, it is the revival of our own body, not a foreign substance that burns fat, regulates cells and corrects metabolism.
