Today, we can do needle-free acupuncture, that is, laser acupuncture, by using a wide variety of lasers in acupuncture treatments. As Akumer Acupuncture Clinic, we use many laser systems. The lasers we use for the ear and the body are different. Our treatment efficiency has increased with various lasers, electro acupuncture and needle acupuncture.
The areas we call acupuncture points are the areas located under the skin or inside the muscle. All recent studies have shown that these areas have a different electrical potential than other skin areas. The acupoint has low electrical potential. Na=Sodium and K=Potassium balance changes depending on the stimulation of the cell. This changes the cell membrane potential (60mV). Another researcher proved that there are more dermal papillae in areas where acupuncture points are located.
In other words, we can say that nerve cells have more receptors at these points. Again, many acupuncture points are distributed according to the dermatome area. Therefore, these areas hit the motor neuron plates of the muscles. This means that when we stimulate the acupuncture point with needles or other methods, the brain is stimulated as a result of both the nerves in that area and the transfer of these impulses to the central nervous system (brain). The brain also responds to the same extent and provides the secretion of certain substances such as Beta endorphin, serotonin, bradykinin, etc. These bodily secretions also activate the mechanism that relieves the ailments. Acupuncture, which is a scientific treatment method, is now categorized within the scope of complementary medicine, not alternative medicine.
