Needle Epilation

Needle Epilation is the oldest epilation method that has been applied for many years. It is effective on fine, yellow and white hairs.
Needle epilation is a process that requires mastery and must be applied in sterile conditions. In this method, a thin and soft needle compatible with the skin is entered into the hair root and a weak electrical current is applied. Thus, a permanent solution is provided by destroying the hair roots. The number of sessions to be applied varies depending on the growth time, structure, color and density of the hairs.

The needles used should be sterile and disposable. Keeping the needle parallel, it is inserted into the hair follicle and current is given. Before removing the needle, the current is cut off and if the hair follicle is destroyed, the hair is easily removed. Mild bumps or redness may appear on the skin. Slight redness is normal, although it is worked very carefully.

Needle epilation should not be applied when you are sleepless and tired, during the menstrual period, and in diseases with low body resistance such as flu. During these periods, the body may feel painful because it is sensitive.

It is not applied around the ears, eyebrows, chest. Patients with varicose veins, patients using pacemakers, edematous people, diabetics, pregnant women, AIDS patients are definitely not suitable for treatment. We use two different needle epilation devices in our clinic.

  • Electrolysis: A galvanic current is used to destroy the hair root, which creates alkali with chemical reactions.
  • Thermocoagulation: It is the classical method in which high frequency current is used, which destroys the hair root with thermal effect.
  • Blend A: It is the combination of Electrolysis following Thermolysis. It is especially recommended for thick and resistant hairs. Blend B: It is a combination of Thermolysis followed by Electrolysis. As with Mixed A, both streams can be moved simultaneously or sequentially in terms of program durations.
  • Flash: It is a very short-term special radio frequency current that destroys the hair and hair root without stimulating the nerve endings. Thus, no pain or ache does not occur. Thanks to the DE-6000 Excellens, it is possible to epilate very sensitive people and areas with maximum efficiency.
  • Thermo-Ionto-Chemical Depilation: It is suitable for body areas or skin types that cannot tolerate Electro-Epilation. This method allows the gradual destruction of the hairs. It combines a heat dissipating application probe with a galvanic current. Both therapeutic effects can be programmed simultaneously or independently. This method delays the growth of the hair, at the same time leads to a noticeable decrease in the number and thickness.
  • Anaphoresis: After epilation, it corrects the pH of the skin and allows it to return to normal acid and immune levels. It helps to reduce the inflammation caused by the application with its soothing and vasoconstricting effect.
