Needle Epilation is the oldest epilation method that has been applied for many years. It is effective on fine, yellow and white hairs.
Needle epilation is a process that requires mastery and must be applied in sterile conditions. In this method, a thin and soft needle compatible with the skin is entered into the hair root and a weak electrical current is applied. Thus, a permanent solution is provided by destroying the hair roots. The number of sessions to be applied varies depending on the growth time, structure, color and density of the hairs.
The needles used should be sterile and disposable. Keeping the needle parallel, it is inserted into the hair follicle and current is given. Before removing the needle, the current is cut off and if the hair follicle is destroyed, the hair is easily removed. Mild bumps or redness may appear on the skin. Slight redness is normal, although it is worked very carefully.
Needle epilation should not be applied when you are sleepless and tired, during the menstrual period, and in diseases with low body resistance such as flu. During these periods, the body may feel painful because it is sensitive.
It is not applied around the ears, eyebrows, chest. Patients with varicose veins, patients using pacemakers, edematous people, diabetics, pregnant women, AIDS patients are definitely not suitable for treatment. We use two different needle epilation devices in our clinic.
