Wrinkles are lines that are etched into the skin due to the thousands of repetitions of the same expression. Wrinkles are also called “crow’s feet” because of their “expression lines” or shape. Wrinkles are caused by the contraction of the muscles under the skin.

Botox is a purified protein toxin derived from a bacterium called “clostridium botulinum”. The reason why it is harmless is that it is used in very small doses and does not disperse into the body. This protein allows the muscles to relax in the area where it is used, and helps the skin to tighten for a certain period of time, thus making it look younger.
